Job summary

Ruth Eckerd Hall seeks an experienced concessions supervisor to oversee beverage service during events, train staff, and ensure high standards. The role involves inventory reconciliation, collaboration with the F&B team, and ensuring compliance with safety and alcohol policies.

The candidate will supervise bar staff, manage cash controls, and assist with scheduling and training to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Ability to work long hours and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent education and experience in the field.
• Two years' experience in beverage service including bartender, bar back and/or server responsibilities.
• Two years' customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the concession and bar staff during events including training, development and direction to maintain and exceed service standards and goals.
• Assist with inventory management as directed including verifying deliveries, reconciling purchase orders and monthly inventory counts.
• Ensure clear communication within the concessions team and with other F&B team members to support the overall customer experience.
• Reconcile sales with receipts and inventory at each point of sale at shift end.
• Address customer satisfaction issues.
• Troubleshoot and report issues with house and external concessions equipment.
• Log and monitor alcohol service violations by bar staff to support responsible pour guidelines.
• Double as bar back and/or bartender when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
