Proof of the Pudding in Austin, TX seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for Circuit of the Americas, overseeing large-scale events, menu development, budgeting, and staff leadership.

The role requires 8+ years in leadership culinary, strong client relations, and the ability to deliver high-volume service with safety and quality in a fast-paced venue setting; salary $110k-$130k plus bonus, benefits.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in a leadership culinary role with experience in large-scale events or racetrack catering.
• Strong leadership, team development, and ability to manage high-volume events.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard purchasing procedures.
• Willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Execute culinary operations including planning, budgeting, menu creation, and supervision of events.
• Develop menus, train staff, and coordinate with sales and operations.
• Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, and analyze variances.
• Create financial reporting and labor vs. sales analyses.
• Ensure safety and sanitation across kitchen and venue.
• Lead and develop culinary staff and collaborate with HR on scheduling.
• Oversee subcontractors and 3rd-party contracts for events.
