The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) seeks qualified individuals for the Transportation Public Concessions Inspector within the Concessions Unit, Office of Contracts & Agreements. The role involves outdoor inspections at 23 state-owned plazas and rest areas to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and health and safety codes, with results logged on tablet software.

Assigned to the Newington, CT headquarters, a State vehicle is provided for travel between sites,

Qualificações

• Five (5) years of experience in the management of a food service facility.
• Management is defined as being the owner, manager or assistant manager of a restaurant, food service operation, minimart or other area where food is served.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect service plazas buildings, grounds and operations to ensure contractual and health/safety compliance.
• Document inspection results using tablet software.
• Travel between work locations using a State vehicle provided.
• Work outdoors in all weather, including extreme heat and cold.
• Follow through on Environmental Health Training Program as required.
