Compass Group USA is hiring a Concessions F&B Supervisor for Loew's Jersey Theatre in Jersey City. The role oversees concession operations, staff, and service quality during events to ensure food safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with kitchen and management, and maintaining standards while handling opening/closing duties and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily concession operations during events.
• Supervise concession staff including cashiers and bartenders.
• Enforce food safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise concession employees, including cashiers, cooks, bartenders, porters, and utility staff.
• Assign work duties and positions before and during events.
• Monitor customer service and ensure guests receive friendly, accurate, and timely service.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation and service to maintain quality and proper portions.
• Ensure concession stands are properly stocked with food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and product usage and report shortages or waste.
• Ensure cash-handling and register procedures are followed correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the concession area.
• Enforce food-safety and workplace-safety procedures.
• Train and coach employees on concession procedures, customer service, safety, and cleanliness.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Monitor employee performance and attendance and communicate concerns to management.
• Coordinate with warehouse, kitchen, event, and management teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, cleanup, inventory, and securing the stand.
• Respond quickly to high-volume periods and changing event needs.
• Complete required reports and communicate event results or issues to management.
