Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook menu items in a fast-paced California kitchen, ensuring high-quality taste and presentation for guests.

You will uphold sanitation, correct temperatures, proper labeling, and stock rotation while supporting other kitchen positions and opening/closing procedures. Requires 6 months+ food prep experience and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to follow written and oral direction.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Observe and practice health and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare and cook food to high quality taste and appearance.
• Ensure proper temperatures for all products.
• Rotate, label and date products properly.
• Keep work area clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Keep management informed of quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders to ensure timely and accurate cooking.
• Assist with re-stocking of paper supplies and food items as needed.
• Assist other positions when needed.
• Open and close procedures as per Training Manual.
• May work multiple stations during shift.
• Follow sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
