Job summary

Levy Restaurants at American Airlines Center is seeking a customer-focused, dependable part-time Cashier to join our Concessions team. You will deliver excellent guest service and accurately process transactions during events, while maintaining cash accountability and supporting daily concession operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys guest interaction, and is available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of food service, retail, hospitality, or cashier experience preferred.
• Previous stadium/arena or high-volume environment experience is a plus.
• Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification (or the ability to obtain within required timeframe).
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all guests.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, mobile, and other approved payment transactions.
• Operate the POS system while ensuring purchases are entered and recorded.
• Issue receipts, process approved refunds, and make accurate change.
• Maintain accountability for cash drawers and daily cash reconciliation.
• Restock beverages, condiments, grab-and-go items, and other concession supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked concession stands and service areas.
• Monitor product quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, inventory control, cash handling, and safety policies.
• Support food service operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused event-based part-time Cashier to join our Concessions team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while accurately processing transactions, maintaining cash accountability, and supporting daily concession operations. Essential Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all guests.


• Accurately process cash, credit card, mobile, and other approved payment transactions.


• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system while ensuring all purchases are correctly entered and recorded.


• Issue receipts, process approved refunds, and make accurate change.


• Maintain accountability for assigned cash drawers, change funds, and daily cash reconciliation.


• Resolve guest questions and concerns promptly while delivering exceptional hospitality.


• Restock beverages, condiments, grab-and-go items, and other concession supplies throughout events.


• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked concession stands and service areas.


• Monitor product quality, presentation, and portion control while following company standards.


• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, inventory control, cash handling, and workplace safety policies.


• Support food service operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.


• Stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.


• Frequently bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
