Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Server Assistant to join our Premium Catering team. This event-based, part-time role supports servers by preparing dining areas, assisting with food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean, organized environment to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

• Minimum of one year of hospitality/catering/club/restaurant experience preferred.
• Stadium/arena or premium dining experience a plus.
• Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dining room setup: tables, linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, stations.
• Deliver food and beverages, refill drinks, assist with meal service.
• Bus, clean, sanitize, and reset tables during events.
• Replenish server stations and assist with opening/closing duties.
• Greet guests professionally, answer questions, accommodate requests, provide hospitality.
• Collaborate with culinary/service teams to ensure timely, accurate service.
• Maintain food presentation, portions, and temperatures while following safety standards.
• Follow company safety policies; perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Server Assistant to join our Premium Catering team. This event-based, part-time role supports servers by preparing dining areas, assisting with food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean, organized environment to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with dining room setup, including tables, linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, and service stations.
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and assisting with meal service.
• Bus, clean, sanitize, and reset tables throughout events while maintaining a polished dining environment.
• Replenish server stations with necessary supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Greet guests with professionalism, answer questions, accommodate special requests, and deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures while following HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Follow all company workplace safety policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hospitality, catering, hotels, clubs, restaurants, or premium dining environments preferred.
• Previous stadium, arena, banquet, or fine dining experience is a plus.
• Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive tasks throughout scheduled shifts.
