Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a Concessions Worker in Lawrence to prepare and serve concession items and beverages, handle cash, and ensure quality presentation. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in food service preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn cash handling and operating a cash register.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Build orders, prepare food, and know all concessions operations areas.
• Maintain stock levels and inform manager of low-stock items.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace including dishwashing and trash disposal.
• Serve beverages, including alcohol, checking IDs per regulations.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.

Position Summary

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests, prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests, and ensures quality of food presentation. They utilize a cash register and accept payment, and must maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00–$16.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge of all areas in the concessions operations.
• Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low‑stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
