Job summary

The City of Temple, TX is seeking a seasonal Concessions Supervisor to assist with overseeing concession stands and staff under the Program Coordinator. You must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include supervising employees, training on cash handling and POS operations, maintaining inventories, and ensuring compliance with health standards. Prior cash handling and supervisory experience is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One season of cash handling and customer service experience.
• One season of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises concession employees and schedules, reviews, submits concession employees’ time worked.
• Trains concession employees on cash handling procedures, cash register process, point of sales operations, and safe food handling.
• Stocks and maintains inventory of all concession items.
• Monitors inventory of beverages, food items, and general supplies and reports discrepancies.
• Operates cash register and point of sales system.
• Allocates funds within a prescribed budget; completes cash reports daily.
• Maintains a sanitary concession environment; follows and ensures compliance with Bell County Health Department standards.
• Prepares, operates, and closes concession stand.
• Adheres to the City’s standards for customer service standards.
• Attends required program staff meetings and trainings.
• Follows the city policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
