Job summary

The City of Temple, TX is seeking a Recreation Facility Attendant to assist with lead recreational programs, maintain clean facilities and equipment, supervise participants, and support day-to-day operations.

Under the direction of program staff, you will prepare courts and spaces, follow safety guidelines, and help with meals or events as needed. Flexible hours include weekends and holidays, with opportunities to gain experience in parks and recreation.

Qualifications

• Completion of two (2) years of high school.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of campers and program participants.
• Clean equipment, facility, spas, and saunas.
• Prepare sport courts, tennis, reservable rooms, and basketball courts for daily play activities.
• Communicate effectively with recreation management team.
• Perform daily office tasks including filing, sorting, and answering phones.
• Assist in work events and special Parks and Recreation programs.
• Serve meals and snacks to program participants as needed.
• Follow City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Food handler license or able to attain within 90 days
