Job summary

Temple is seeking a seasonal concession supervisor to assist with oversight of concession stands and staff. You will supervise employees, handle cash, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards during busy weekend and holiday periods.

The role requires a high school diploma and prior cash handling/customer service and supervisory experience, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus. This is a temporary, on-site position suitable for flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises concession employees and schedules, reviews, submits time worked.

Summary

Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Assistant Program Coordinator assists with the oversight of the concession stands and employees. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays. This is a seasonal position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises concession employees and schedules, reviews, submits concession employees’ time worked
• Trains concession employees on cash handling procedures, cash register process, point of sales operations, and safe food handling
• Stocks and maintains inventory of all concession items
• Monitors inventory of beverages, food items, and general supplies and reports discrepancies
• Operates cash register and point of sales system
• Allocates funds within a prescribed budget; completes cash reports daily
• Maintains a sanitary concession environment; follows and ensures compliance with Bell County Health Department standards
• Prepares, operates, and closes concession stand
• Adheres to the City's standards for customer service standards
• Attends required program staff meetings and trainings
• Follows the city policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One season of cash handling and customer service experience
• One season of supervisory experience

• Bilingual in English & Spanish
