Position Title: Concession Supervisor
Location: Miller Outdoor Theater | Near the Medical Center, Herman Park, Houston, TX
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Concession Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our bar and concession areas, ensuring efficient service, maintaining product quality, and leading staff to provide outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Operate daily bar and concession operations, ensuring timely setup, efficient service, and proper closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor product levels and coordinate ordering and replenishment with management.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, POS usage, and financial accountability.
- Lead, train, schedule, and support bar and concession staff.
- Provide on‑shift guidance and coaching to maintain high service standards.
- Foster a positive, team‑oriented work environment.
- Deliver excellent guest service, addressing customer needs and resolving concerns promptly.
- Maintain product knowledge to support menu recommendations and staff training.
- Enforce alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with TABC laws and venue rules.
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bars, concessions, or hospitality supervision.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑service skills.
- Knowledge of alcohol service laws and food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during high‑volume events.
- Competence with POS systems and cash management.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in events, convention center, or entertainment venue environments.
- Experience with inventory management or ordering systems.
- Certified food handler and T.A.B.C. certification (required).
