Oak View Group in Mobile, AL is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare menu items in a fast-paced concession kitchen at The Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center. You will use grills, fryers, and ovens, uphold high quality, control portions, and minimize waste.

The role emphasizes sanitation, temperature control, and teamwork with front-counter staff to fulfill guest orders. Prior cooking experience is preferred, and a food handling certificate may be required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cook and package food items to order or kept warm for guests.
• Receive orders from front counter staff and prepare accordingly.
• Maintain quality and proper temperatures for all menu items.
• Control portions and ensure plating meets standards.
• Clean, stock, restock workstations and displays.
• Operate grills, fryers, and ovens in a high-volume setting.
• Keep areas clean, store food properly, and sweep/mop floors at shift end.
• Verify cleanliness standards with Floor Supervisor before leaving shift.
• Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
