Job summary

Aramark at Arizona State University Athletics in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Concession Bartender who delivers outstanding guest service from arrival to departure. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain beverage knowledge, and ensure compliance with alcohol policies.

The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and game days. Prior bartending experience and valid Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications are preferred or required to obtain before start.

Qualifications

• Prior bartender experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles, recipes and trends.
• Valid Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications required.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lb; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions.
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons’ identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Adheres to cash handling policies.
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests needs and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
