Job summary

Tennessee Performing Arts Center is seeking Concession Bartenders to provide friendly beverage service and concessions to guests during TPAC events.

You will set up and breakdown locations, mix drinks, greet guests, verify IDs, handle payments, and keep areas clean and stocked while complying with all liquor laws.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid TABC permit, 1–2 years of related experience, and knowledge of Tennessee liquor laws and health requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid TABC Permit required.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Must be 18 years or older with knowledge of Tennessee liquor laws.
• Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a team-based culture focused on respect, communication, inclusivity, and collaboration.
• Set up and breakdown of permanent and portable sales locations.
• Utilize high quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, mixers to create drinks for guests.
• Greet guests, verify age, take beverage orders, mix drinks, and serve quickly in compliance with laws and standards.
• Perform cash handling, manage assigned bank, and process payments for drinks served.
• Maintain an organized, clean bar area and assist with inventory and reports.
• Work TPAC events and receptions with a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
