Title: Concert SupportReports To: Sr. Director, Arena Production & EventsFLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-ExemptPay: $17.50Job Summary:Concert Support Runners play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events for promoters and tour staff. From pre-show preparations to post-concert wrap-ups, they contribute flexibly to various tasks.This is a part-time, event-based position. All event team members must be available nights, weekdays, and weekends based on the Golden 1 Center events calendar.Key Responsibility Areas:Procure food and beverages in large quantities a day before and on the day of the event.Deliver top-notch customer service to both internal and external guests.Assist in organizing ancillary events associated with concerts and shows.Thrive in high-pressure situations, exhibiting quick and efficient performance.Uphold a professional demeanor at all times.Qualifications:Familiarity with local grocery stores, laundromats, department stores, delis, dry cleaning services, farmer's markets, and other specialized/niche stores within 2-3 miles of the Golden 1 Center.Knowledge of the surrounding area, including intersections and traffic patterns during events.Understanding the concert/arena business is a plus.Previous customer service experience is preferred.Reliable transportation.Friendly, professional, personable, and outgoing personality.Education and/or Experience:Experience in driving large vehicles, such as 15-passenger vans, SUVs, and cargo vans is a plus.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Must possess a valid state driver's license.Other Qualifications:Capability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call as needed.Ability to handle 16-20 hour shifts.Physical Demands:Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.Regular walking, sitting, and occasional standing during job duties.Visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment.Work Environment:Exposure to moderate noise levels (crowd/music) and, during events, high noise levels requiring hearing protection.Possible exposure to excessive dust, gas, or fumes (motocross, monster trucks, etc.).
