Job description

Job Title: Operations Crew Member

Location: Pinnacle Bank Arena, Pinewood Bowl Theater

Department: Operations

Reports To: Operations Coordinators

FLSA Status: Part-Time (PT) Hourly, Non-Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events including setting up and tearing down flooring, concerts, retractable and portable seating, stage barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings, and equipment.
  • Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met including equipment maintenance, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and snow removal.
  • Perform work in indoor and outdoor environments subject to heat and inclement weather.
  • Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns or loss of property promptly to Operations Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Have a flexible schedule; required to have daytime availability with occasional evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability as needed.
  • Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods at a time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more frequently, and sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with conversion tasks.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, demonstrate a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive operations while maintaining safety.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, patrons, and others.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

Education and Work Experience: Event Operations, manual labor or warehouse work experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to move around the facility; stand for long hours during events; talk and hear; may work inside or outside the building as needed by events.
