Job summary

Roosevelt University’s Chicago campus seeks a Performance Activities Manager to lead concert and production activities for the Music Conservatory. You will coordinate scheduling, venues, rentals, documentation, and marketing while supervising staff and student workers.

The role requires collaboration with faculty and administration to ensure excellence, with evening and weekend hours during rehearsals and performances.

Qualifications

• Experience in ensemble management, concert or production management.
• Knowledge of performance management and scheduling and venue logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple productions and calendars and meet deadlines.
• Budgeting skills and vendor/venue contract management.
• Experience supervising staff or student workers.
• Excellent organization and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during rehearsals and performances.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all concert and production activities including scheduling, venues, rentals and marketing.
• Supervise Ensemble Operations Coordinator and student assistants.
• Serve as operational liaison for fully staged productions and production week coordination.
• Manage budgets for performance activities and monitor expenditures.
• Assess performance activities and report to college administration.
