Job summary

Capstone Copper in Globe, AZ is seeking a Processing Operations Planner to develop and execute short- and long-term plans for the Pinto Valley concentrator. You will coordinate with maintenance, operations, and support teams to optimize equipment availability and reliability, aligning with performance targets and SAP work management.

Responsibilities include detailed planning, scheduling, work management in SAP, coordinating parts and contractors, and supporting maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or operational planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, and work management processes.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance/operations plans for the concentrator.
• Work Management: Manage SAP work orders, prioritization, scope, labor estimates, and schedules.
• Resource Coordination: Identify parts, materials, tools, and contractor support for planned work.
• Field Coordination: Validate job scope with supervisors and crews to ensure executable plans.
• Maintenance Strategy Support: Support preventive/predictive maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Performance & Cost Management: Support safety, availability, and cost targets through planning.
• Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Ensure work is executed per site standards and schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and efficiency.
• Reporting & Meetings: Prepare and deliver planning/scheduling reports and participate in planning meetings.
