Job summary

Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. seeks a Crypto/COMSEC Specialist to ensure COMSEC compliance for MIDS JTRS and TD L systems across domestic and FMS activities.

You will manage cryptographic key handling, safeguarding, and accountability per NSA/DoD policies, with readiness to travel. The role supports the Program Office, coordinating with government, industry, and foreign partners to ensure compliant use of COMSEC equipment and keying material; you will help ensure mission assurance,

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Knowledge of DoD regulations and industry standards.
• Experience with radio and communications equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain radio, microwave, and communications hardware and firmware.
• Program, optimize, and repair radios and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot systems; provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Record radio repairs and equipment inventory accurately.
• Support customers with radio and communications operations during tests and events.
• Use test analyzers and related troubleshooting equipment.
• Contribute to test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Assist in planning WWorking groups and day-to-day Test & Evaluation activities.
• Assist design plans based on site surveys for installation & integration of radios and systems.
• Qualify as CMS custodian and provide CMS support.
