Job summary

Aurex (San Antonio, TX) is seeking a COMSEC Operations Lead to guide a geographically dispersed team and oversee the lifecycle of COMSEC equipment and keying material. You will coordinate daily execution, resolve issues, and ensure accountability for sensitive assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of COMSEC operations experience, incl. 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and a CI polygraph.
• Experience managing lifecycle of COMSEC equipment and keying material, incl. electronic key delivery and physical handling.
• Experience using COMSEC accounting systems such as DIAS or LCMS.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and coordinate on-site and remote work centers.
• Strong communication to articulate technical and operational requirements across boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead distributed operations across geographically dispersed COMSEC work centers, aligning priorities, coordinating task assignments, and monitoring execution.
• Identify, track, and coordinate requirements for COMSEC equipment and keying material throughout their operational lifecycle.
• Direct COMSEC account management activities and coordinate logistics support to maintain inventories, asset accountability, and safeguarding.
• Oversee electronic key delivery and physical handling, storage, and distribution of COMSEC equipment and keying material.
• Coordinate across work centers and organizations to address execution challenges, elevate issues, and communicate priorities and status.
• Serve as a COMSEC subject matter expert, helping teams apply procedures consistently and coordinate across the COMSEC enterprise.
