Rivet Industries seeks a Software Engineer focused on computer vision, tracking, and equilibrium systems for next-generation AR devices. You will build perception and tracking capabilities for stable, low-latency, spatially aware AR experiences on Android and embedded Linux.

Responsibilities include implementing real-time perception pipelines, interfacing with OpenXR, and optimizing performance across edge hardware. Collaboration with hardware, firmware, graphics, and backend teams is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Deep experience in computer vision, perception, tracking, or real-time spatial computing.
• MS or PhD with substantial professional experience as described in the posting.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or C# for performance-critical apps.
• Experience on Android or embedded Linux devices.
• Knowledge of XR/perception frameworks like OpenXR, ARCore, SLAM/VIO.

Aufgaben

• Develop CV and tracking systems for AR/XR devices using multiple vision modalities.
• Build perception pipelines for tracking, localization, scene understanding, and motion estimation on edge platforms.
• Implement real-time components in C++/C# for AR apps and device services.
• Integrate with OpenXR and XR runtimes for cross-platform support.
• Optimize latency, fidelity, synchronization, and performance on Android/Linux.
• Develop tooling and debugging workflows for perception validation.
• Create companion apps and services for Android devices using Java/Kotlin.
• Prototype with OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and TensorFlow Lite for CI/test environments.
• Optimize edge deployment of vision models across hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, graphics, and backend teams for end-to-end AR features.
