Rivet is seeking a Software Engineer focused on sensor fusion for real-time AR systems on Android and embedded Linux devices. You’ll join the intersection of perception, tracking, and XR to fuse IMUs, cameras, and depth sensors into robust spatial computing pipelines.

You will ship end-to-end real-time systems, optimize latency, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, computer vision, and XR teams to deliver performant AR capabilities in demanding environments.

Competenze

• Real-time sensor fusion, robotics, AR/VR, perception, or spatial computing experience required.
• 3+ years of professional experience (or PhD + 1 year).
• Strong fundamentals in sensor fusion, state estimation, filtering, and motion tracking.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or C# for performance-critical apps.
• Experience on Android or embedded Linux systems.
• Familiarity with XR frameworks like OpenXR, ARCore, or related tech.

Mansioni

• Develop sensor fusion systems for AR/XR devices using IMU, camera, depth, and other sensors.
• Implement tracking, calibration, synchronization, filtering, and state estimation pipelines.
• Build performant C++/C# systems for real-time XR applications and device integration.
• Integrate with OpenXR and AR runtimes for cross-platform compatibility.
