Job summary

Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR) in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Computer Technician to install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software, and troubleshoot equipment for internal users.

Position requires in-depth networking knowledge, basic Microsoft server software familiarity, and strong problem-solving abilities. Full-time, on-site role with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or related formal training.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Basic math and IT foundational knowledge.
• A+ or Network+ certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot equipment and assist internal users.
• Perform loading software on computers and laptops.
• Handle testing and inventory of equipment for internal use.
• General to advanced technical duties and other duties as assigned.

Job description

Basic Function

The Computer Technicians install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software along with troubleshooting of equipment.

• Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• General to advanced technical duties
• In depth networking knowledge to include IP addressing & Microsoft server software
• Advanced level repair
• Loading software on computers and laptops
• Testing and inventory of equipment for internal use
• Other job responsibilities, tasks, and duties may be assigned as part of this position

Education And Experience

• Associates degree preferred or other formal training in related field preferred
• A minimum of two (2) years of related experience desired
• Basic math, required
• A+ Industry Certification, Network + Certification or equivalent or ability and willingness to obtain.

Other Requirements

• Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
