Based at the Research and Education Center in Princeton, Kentucky, this role provides frontline technical support, technology consulting, and network assistance for 17 Cooperative Extension Service offices. The successful candidate will help ensure employees have reliable technology resources while supporting daily operations, cybersecurity awareness, and long-term technology planning.
Technology plays a critical role in helping Cooperative Extension personnel deliver programs, resources, and services throughout Kentucky. As Extension offices continue to rely on secure and reliable technology, there is an ongoing need for skilled IT professionals who can provide expert support across multiple locations.
In this role, you’ll help strengthen the technology infrastructure that supports Extension’s mission while building relationships with employees across the region and contributing to a statewide network of IT professionals dedicated to service and innovation.
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suites, Mac OS, peer-to-peer networking, strong technical and troubleshooting skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to function within a collaborative team-oriented environment, strong customer service skills.
