Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Computer Support Specialist in Albany, NY to support program functions and data workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years IT experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to analyze data, maintain databases, and train users.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year minimum experience in a professional IT setting.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Access).
• Ability to enter data into and extract data from electronic databases.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with different personalities.
• Ability to handle multiple shifting priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external entities.

Position Overview:

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individuals able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
• The successful consultant should be willing and able to multitask and move from assignment to assignment as deadlines and priorities change.
• Knowledge of complex databases and how to learn new processes quickly and efficiently is a must.
• Must have good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the program functions
• Providing analysis of data,
• Create and maintain data dictionaries,
• Run and maintain data pipeline processes,
• Map existing databases and perform routine database maintenance as specifically directed,
• Provide various aspects of general computer support,
• Provide training and support for Client, providers and consumers

Require Qualifications:

• A high school diploma (or equivalent),
• Two-year minimum experience working in a professional IT based setting,
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Sharepoint and Access),
• The ability to enter data into, and extract data from, electronic databases,
• The ability to work independently and on a team with different personalities,
• The ability to handle multiple, shifting priorities,
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external entities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Microsoft Office products
• Experience creating and maintaining databases and mapping existing databases
• Experience in SQL, Python, R or Tableau
