Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for a computing environment by following established procedures and processes.
  • Support desktop hardware and software troubleshooting activities while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform basic technical support functions, including hardware support, software support, printer management, and end-user assistance.
  • Provide smart hands support for servers and network teams as needed.
  • Support conference room technologies and related equipment.
  • Assist with asset lifecycle management activities, including deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement of equipment.
  • Perform computer imaging and deployment activities for end users.
  • Replace printer toner and assist with routine printer maintenance activities.
  • Dispose of outdated technology assets in accordance with established processes.
  • Resolve and manage support tickets received through ServiceNow or similar support queues.
  • Update and maintain asset records and inventory information within asset management systems.
  • Follow knowledge base articles and documented procedures to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute operational documentation, records, and support-related information.
  • Maintain contact lists, process logs, incident reports, customer information updates, inventory records, maintenance records, and service documentation.
  • Recognize issues within supported processes and operations and resolve them using established procedures and documented solutions.
  • Escalate issues that fall outside established processes to the appropriate support teams.
  • Schedule routine equipment maintenance activities and coordinate support services as required.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment.
  • Interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding equipment and operational needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to solve problems, support projects, and achieve operational objectives.

Summary

Computer Support Associate is responsible for providing day-to-day operational support within a computing environment while following established procedures and processes. The position requires a combination of technical aptitude, administrative support, customer service, and collaboration skills to ensure smooth and efficient user experience.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Experience working within documented processes and support procedures.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:$25.00 - $26.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
