Riverside Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Computer Repair Technician to deliver onsite hardware and networking support. You will perform installs, moves, adds, and changes, and provide technical assistance for computer systems and hardware.

You will also handle follow-up services and escalate issues when needed. The role requires travel as needed, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A+, Cisco, and HP certifications preferred.
• Ability to travel when required.
• 1 year in field service support role preferred.
• Must be available for varying shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
• Excellent organizational skills and professional presence.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must be able to move equipment up to 25 lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Maintain professional demeanor in actions, appearance, and communication.
• Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes; test and inspect units for quality.
• Communicate repair steps, parts orders, and ETA to customers clearly.
• Provide technical support for printers and computer systems hardware.
• Guide customers through problem-solving process and answer inquiries.
• Run diagnostics to identify computer system issues and maintain performance.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software as needed.
• Prioritize and schedule daily work orders for efficiency.
• Develop knowledge of operating standards and procedures.
• Install new equipment at customer sites as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

As a Computer Repair Technician, you will be providing onsite hardware and networking support. In this role, you’ll perform installs, moves, adds, and changes. You’ll also provide technical assistance and support for computer systems and hardware. Plus, you’ll be responsible for follow-up services and problem escalation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing onsite support, including hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress
• Performing installs, moves, adds, and changes as required as well as testing and inspecting units for quality
• Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with the customer about important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
• Providing technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to printers, computer systems and hardware
• Responding to inquiries from customers seeking assistance and walking the customer through problem-solving process
• Maintaining daily performance of computer systems and running diagnostic programs to identify problems with computer systems
• Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software
• Prioritizing and reviewing work orders to schedule daily work
• Developing a working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
• Installing new equipment at customer sites as required
• Performing other related duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• A+, Cisco, and HP certifications highly desired
• Ability to travel when required
• 1 year in field service support role supporting a variety of hardware and networking equipment preferred
• Sense of urgency
• Must be available for varying shifts depending on customers’ needs
• Regular reliable attendance
• Exceptional organizational skills and a professional presence
• Ability to work efficiently within a team
• Must have ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license (part of the responsibilities will be to drive to customer sites)
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check

Starting pay $20.00-$22.00/hour!
