Computer Programmer, Lead

Salary: Full Time

We are a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and service needs for commercial and government clients. We are seeking a full-time Computer Programmer, Lead to support contract work out of Virginia. This is an exempt remote position.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify systems engineering process improvements and enforce their execution across the organization.
2. Perform programming functions such as developing operational systems concepts, conducting system trade studies, originating design concepts, and performing systems-level testing and integration for highly complex systems.
3. Assist in defining system requirements and technical specifications for AHRQ systems.
4. Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
5. Document configuration parameters and workflows.
6. Ensure systems are properly configured and maintained.
7. Plan, organize, troubleshoot, and direct analysis and resolution of complex process and system problems.
8. Manage test scheduling and operations to meet deadlines.
9. Apply knowledge of network architectures, computing systems, communications systems, and hardware aspects of distributed data communications environments for testing.
10. Track project execution to ensure timely delivery.
11. Review system performance, identify technical risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
12. Provide technical recommendations and outline effective approaches for systems programming activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in software systems.
