One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Tech Lead in Canada and the U.S.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a senior-level software engineer to take the technical reins of a fast-scaling SaaS product. You'll lead a small team of engineers, shaping system architecture, improving code quality, and driving project execution from planning to deployment. Working closely with Product and Design, you'll balance technical innovation with customer value, all while mentoring engineers and championing best practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional collaboration, loves solving complex backend and frontend problems, and wants to make a direct impact in a high-growth environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead architectural and design decisions across backend and frontend projects, ensuring scalability and maintainability
  • Guide engineers on technical tasks, delegate responsibilities, and facilitate smooth execution of team initiatives
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for cross-functional collaboration, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
  • Contribute hands-on across the stack, delivering high-quality, performant code and setting the technical standard
  • Own the implementation of new services and features, ensuring they meet expectations for performance, observability, and testing
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to build user-first experiences with thoughtful APIs and interfaces
  • Conduct detailed code reviews and promote engineering excellence across the team
Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience building and scaling full-stack applications
  • Deep experience with modern stacks—ideally including Python, Django, React, Redux, SQL, and Docker
  • Familiarity with GraphQL/Apollo and experience with Rust is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working closely with Product and Design teams in a fast-paced startup environment
  • A passion for clean code, performance, and intuitive user experience
