Job summary

DrKumo seeks a Computer Programmer to build and maintain the front-end of its remote patient monitoring platform. You will translate user stories into technical specifications and implement robust UI components.

You will work with React, Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs, applying performance optimizations and secure authentication patterns. You will participate in code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with automated testing, RESTful or GraphQL API integration, and secure authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, data flow diagrams, and business rules to convert requirements into detailed technical specifications using UML and ERD techniques.
• Modify and maintain existing programs; diagnose defects with Chrome DevTools, log analyzers, and automated unit tests (Jest, ReactTesting Library).
• Optimize application performance through refactoring, lazy loading, memoization, and Webpack bundle analysis to reduce Time to Interactive.
• Architect reusable UI component libraries and configure state management solutions (Redux, React Query) to enhance scalability across product lines.
• Integrate front-end modules with RESTful and GraphQL APIs; implement secure data handling (OAuth 2.0, JWT) and client-side caching strategies.
• Conduct peer code reviews and follow coding standards enforced via ESLint/Prettier and CI pipelines.
• Author and maintain technical documentation, including coding guidelines, release notes, and user manuals.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows with GitLab CI/CD and Docker; manage rollouts to AWS hosting environments.
• Monitor production applications with New Relic and Grafana dashboards; analyze logs to support a 99.9 percent front-end uptime service level.

2. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, softwareengineering, information technology or computer information systems, computerengineering, or a closely related computing field, or the equivalentcombinationof education, specialized training, and progressively responsibleexperience.
• Experience with automated testing, RESTful or GraphQLAPI integration, and secure authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CDworkflows.

3.Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building software that handles regulatedhealth data or operates in another regulated environment.
• Experience with Docker, AWS deployment, and productionmonitoring tools.
