Job summary

TempExperts is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Tampa, FL to join a global engineering and manufacturing organization. You will set up and operate CNC equipment, perform precision inspections, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a hands-on production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech school/associate preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision tools.
• CNC or machining experience preferred; Wire EDM a plus but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and production specifications.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable in a production environment.

TempExperts is recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established global engineering and manufacturing organization in Tampa, FL.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in precision and quality. You’ll be working with specialized equipment and components used across aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial applications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up and operate specialized production and CNC equipment
• Use calipers to accurately set up machinery for cutting flexible shafts
• Operate small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts
• Perform detailed inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Accurately record inspection results in the production database
• Read and interpret blueprints and production specifications
• Maintain consistent quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
• Follow established safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing experience
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• CNC or machining experience preferred
• CNC Wire EDM experience is a plus but not required
• Experience with machining processes such as press operation, hitch feed, and weld cutting is helpful
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
