Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing daily operation of the Computer Learning Center (CLC).
  • Maintain all CLC records such as resident sign-in sheets, equipment warranty information, and inventory.
  • Assist Residents with computer programs as needed.
  • Monitor all computer usage and ensure that all computer-related hardware is properly cared for and repaired as needed.
  • Enforce policies and procedures of the CLC.
  • Order supplies to maintain sufficient quantities for efficient operation.
  • Report any problems with computers to the IT Department and Property Manager.
  • Make arrangements for regular cleaning of the CLC.

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

WinnCompanies is looking for a Computer Learning Center Coordinator to join our team at Academy Homes, a 202-unit affordable housing and commercial community located in Roxbury, MA.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operation of the Computer Learning Center (CLC).

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Please note that the selected candidate will work up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing daily operation of the Computer Learning Center (CLC).
  • Maintain all CLC records such as resident sign-in sheers, equipment warranty information, inventory, etc.
  • Assist Residents with computer programs as needed.
  • Monitor all computer usage and ensure that all computer related hardware is used only for its intended purpose, is properly cared for and repaired as needed.
  • Enforce policies and procedures of the CLC.
  • Order supplies to maintain sufficient quantities of paper, ink cartridges for the efficient operation of the center.
  • Report any problems with computers to the IT Department and Property Manager.
  • Make arrangements with Management Office so that the CLC is cleaned on a regular basis.
  • Assist Resident Services with different residents’ activities including summer program.
  • Prepare CLC schedule every month.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year or relevant work experience.
  • High-level computer systems knowledge.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of computer literacy programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals including children and adults.
