As part of Insight Global’s Asset Management team, the Computer Hardware Analyst plays a pivotal role in the accountability for the IT assets throughout the enterprise, utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization and affiliated companies.

Overview and Requirements:

Reports to Depot Services Manager and works closely with other managers in the organization.
Comfortable with a high-growth, fast-paced, environment.
Proven record of accomplishment of building strong partnerships with internal teams through close alignment and joint success.
Ability to conduct hardware analysis and identify issues in computer systems.
Assist in multiple deployment projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Possess an understanding of computer configurations and technical specifications.
Ability to maintain and organize assets, warranty, maintenance, subscriptions, and contracts for assets via ServiceNow.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with FedEx and other courier companies.
You can physically move lightweight equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Conducting hardware analysis and identifying issues in computer systems
Developing and implementing hardware solutions to improve system performance and functionality.
Testing and evaluating hardware components to ensure compatibility with existing systems.
Collaborating with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related problems.
Responsible for providing a break/fix service to internal and external customers.
Accountable to follow the Insight Global standards for configuration.
Update system records as needed to complete deployments.
Responsible for defining and maintaining lifecycle support and implementation of tools such as ServiceNow, Intune, and Apple Business Manager.
Track hardware entitlement and maintenance data to support refresh and break/fix activities and end of life processes and projects; investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain integrity of hardware asset data.
Ability to communicate with Technical and Business staff.
Accountable for the IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization and affiliated companies.
Identify and report on potential issues with asset tracking tools, supporting systems and inputs; develop and maintain related program and process documentation.
Work within ITAM teams to track hardware entitlement and maintenance data in support of refresh and end of life processes and projects; investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain integrity of hardware asset data.
