Job summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a skilled Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on Dell and Lenovo laptops and desktops. On onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo, with all certifications provided at no cost.

This is a 1099 contract role with pay per ticket and a weekly payout. You will need reliable transportation, access to a computer and Internet to log into the portal, and the ability to log into the tech portal by 9 am each workday to accept, update,

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on Dell and Lenovo laptops/desktops.
• Complete hardware part replacements for warranty services.
• Log into the tech portal and map out daily calls; communicate with customers for on-site windows.
• On-site visits and pickups/drops of parts via provided shipping labels.

Job Details

• This is a1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35per ticket.


• You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.


• Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.


• You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.


• You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.


• Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.


• You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.


• Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.
