Job summary

FEDITC, LLC is seeking a Computer Equipment Repairer to support DoD and other intelligence agencies in the Texarkana, TX area. Join a fast-growing team responsible for troubleshooting OSI Layer 1/2 issues, repairing analog/digital telecom systems, managing asset records, and ensuring proper documentation for RRAD equipment and security clearances.

US citizenship and an active Secret DoD clearance are required to be considered.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of verifiable customer service or clerical experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Must be a US citizen and pass a background check.
• COMPTIA A+ Certification or similar is desired; CompTIA Security is also listed.

Responsibilities

• Augment Government personnel in resolving OSI Layer 1 and 2 trouble tickets.
• Troubleshoot and repair analog and digital telephone systems including VoIP networks.
• Resolve connectivity issues involving data acquisition equipment in RRAD production environments.
• Assist in installing, testing, and troubleshooting various cables (CAT6, fiber-optic) and serve as CSSS.
• Ensure RRAD asset management lists and databases are updated for new/old equipment.
• Complete required Government paperwork for accountability of RRAD IT assets.
• Notify RRAD-DFIM network admins of hardware issuances and disposals for system imaging.
• Other support duties as needed.

Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Computer Equipment Repairer to work in the Texarkana, TX area.

A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Augment Government personnel in resolving Network Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Model Layer 1 and 2 trouble tickets.
• Troubleshoot and repair analog and digital telephone systems to include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) networks and accessories.
• Resolve connectivity issues involving data acquisition equipment in RRAD production environments.
• Augment Government personnel in installing, testing, and troubleshooting various types of communication cables (e.g. CAT6, fiber-optic) and to serve as Computer Systems Support Specialists (CSSSs).
• Augment RRAD-DFIM personnel to ensure the RRAD Property Book and all other IT recordkeeping systems are kept current and accurate, and that new equipment received, and old equipment turned into the appropriate RRAD authority for disposition is added to or removed from RRAD’s asset management lists and databases.
• Must complete all required Government paperwork necessary to provide proper accountability for RRAD-owned IT assets, such as the DA3161 Hand Receipt for portable equipment issued to RRAD personnel and will answer RRAD personnel inquiries regarding equipment turn in and issuance procedures.
• Must ensure the appropriate RRAD-DFIM network administration personnel are notified of new equipment issuances and old equipment turn-ins to enable system image deployment and appropriate updates to the RRAD network whitelist.
• Other support duties as needed/directed.

Experience/Skills:

• CompTIA Security

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
