Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA is seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for a full-time evening shift 5:00pm–5:30am, including holidays. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible.

The CT Tech will perform imaging studies, maintain patient safety, and support quality initiatives across the radiology department. ARRT certification and CT credentialing required; BLS preferred. Inova offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist; CT certification within one year of accepting the offer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging with IVs and contrast as applicable.
• Maintains accurate patient identification and records.
• Tracks patients per department procedures and corrects errors.
• Participates in performance improvement, in-services and meetings.
• Ensures efficient, safe, high-quality radiologic services.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Monday-Wednesday 5:00pm-5:30am with holidays. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance eligible.

CT Technologist (CT Tech) Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage as they pertain to computed tomography, as evidenced by observations by supervisors and peers.
• Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
• Correctly identifies patients and their files by ensuring a high degree of accuracy, as evidenced by the lack of mislabeled films, images and EMR charts.
• Tracks patients according to department procedures. Identifies errors and takes immediate action for corrections, as evidenced by the EMR and PACS systems as well as the Radiology Information Systems reports.
• Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
• License: Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer.
• Certification:Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
• Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
