Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist for a high-volume, fast-paced hospital setting in Apple Valley, CA. This onsite contract role requires 2 years of CT experience, ARRT CT or ARRT R credentials, and BLS certification. Duties include 30-40 scans per 12 hours and working with Toshiba equipment in a 1:1 patient ratio.

Start ASAP with flexibility for various shifts, including graveyard with holiday coverage. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the 18-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Two years of CT technologist experience required.
• Experience with high-volume ED CT work preferred.
• Certification in CT and radiology safety is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform 30-40 CT scans per 12 hours shift.
• Independently and efficiently manage assignments.
• Operate Toshiba equipment and document using Epic.

Job Description

Flexible Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Must be open to all shift times, cannot accommodate a specific shift request. CAN EXPECT TO DO 30-40 SCANS PER 12 HOURS SHIFT. SELF SCHEDULE - BASED ON SENIORITY. VARIABLE SCHEDULE REQUIRED, BUT UNIT WILL WORK TO KEEP CLN ON DAY VAR, NIGHT VAR, OR GRAVES - WILL NOT WORK A BACK TO BACK NIGHT THEN DAY, ETC - PLEASE REACH OUT FOR SAMPLE SCHEDULE. HIGH NEED FOR GRAVEYARD SHIFT. Must be open to working 3/5 major holidays. VERY HIGH VOLUME, FAST PACED FACILITY. MAY BE ASKED TO DO OWN TRANSPORT BASED ON STAFFING. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDENDENTLY AND EFFICIENTLY. Community Hospital Exp required. Client and Toshiba equipment used.

  Very busy department. Some outpatients but mostly ED patients. High volume primary stroke receiving center. There is transport support for this department, but technologists are encouraged to assist when needed.
