Qualifications

• Strong distributed systems fundamentals and experience operating high-throughput and low-latency services or batch pipelines in production.
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and operations.
• Ability to think in terms of reliability and guardrails with SLOs, incident response, and safe deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own backend/platform services for Glean’s runtime infrastructure.
• Develop and evolve Kubernetes-based runtime primitives for multi-cloud foundation.
• Drive improvements in latency, resource utilization, and cost for core platform services.
