Job summary

Michigan Medicine's Gilbert S. Omenn Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics seeks a Research Assistant II (Temp) to support computational biomedical research projects in the PI's laboratory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Processing, organizing, and performing quality control of research datasets.
• Conducting statistical and computational analyses using established research protocols.
• Implementing and evaluating computational, statistical, and/or machine-learning methods.
• Performing literature reviews relevant to assigned research projects.
• Generating figures, tables, and summaries of research findings.
• Documenting computational workflows, methods, and results to support reproducible research.
• Participating in research meetings and discussing analytical results with the PI and other research team members.
• Assisting with preparation of research results for presentations, manuscripts, and other scholarly products.
• Performing other research-related duties as appropriate for the assigned project.
