ABBTECH Professional Resources in Little River, SC seeks a Computer Technician for a short-term project. The role involves assembling 4 new desktop computers, initiating data migration, and coordinating with remote staff for completion. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

and pass background checks (and possibly a drug test) as ABBTECH pays for both. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, 1–2 years of related experience and CompTIA A+ certification, strong customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team
• Proven customer service background.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed
• Possesses good analytical and communication skills
• Possesses strong ability to work independently
• Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and scripts
• Detailed oriented, independent, self-starter and customer service oriented
• Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure 4 new desktop computers with data migration initiated.
• Complete data migration; hand off migration to Remote Staff for finalization.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet during the shift.
