Job summary

Ohio Transmission Corporation is seeking a Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment at customer sites. You’ll monitor sites remotely, respond proactively, and document service reports while following safety protocols.

The role offers strong training through the Air Academy and opportunities for advancement. Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with rotary screw, oil-free or oil-flooded air compressors is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Driver license valid and background checks pass.
• Physically able to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Monitor sites remotely and respond to issues promptly.
• Diagnose issues and suggest solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify site repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate site needs.
