Job summary

Ohio Transmission Corporation is seeking a Service Technician to repair and maintain compressed air systems at DIRECTAIR sites across the region. You’ll diagnose issues, monitor remote sites, and communicate needs to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with rotary screw air compressors preferred.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment at DIRECTAIR sites across the region.
• Monitor sites remotely and respond proactively to issues.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify site repairs, upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate site needs.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and order parts needed at sites.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
