Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a skilled Compressor Station Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of gathering system compressor stations.

The role includes daily documentation, PMs, and coordinating with craft personnel to resolve equipment issues. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a mechanical/energy-related certification, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy related field preferred.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years stable work history, preferably in energy/technical fields.
• Must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Ability to read prints, drawings and manuals and prepare technical reports.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reports and logs.
• Good verbal/written communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain compressor stations and related equipment.
• Document daily equipment status and perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with craft personnel to resolve equipment problems.
• Monitor and adjust equipment for optimum availability and throughput.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate procedures as needed.
• Complete required reports and logs for compliance and operations.
• Work in various environments, indoors and outdoors, often in hazardous conditions.
