Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Compressor CAD Product Designer in the United States. You will create and maintain CAD models, drawings and BOMs for centrifugal, screw and reciprocating compressor products, ensuring validity with GD&T and evolving with design reviews.

Work with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to deliver accurate designs and timely documentation. Strong CAD experience and cross-functional collaboration are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 3+ years in engineering.
• 3+ years experience with CAD modeling tools and product development workflows.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs and documentation using Creo and related tools.
• Develop detailed models and drawings for compressor assemblies and subassemblies with GD&T.
• Support engineering change processes and release activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Programs to resolve issues.
• Participate in design reviews and communicate status, risks and issues.
