Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Compression Lab Engineer for its R&D centre in Syracuse, NY. You will maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and upgrade compressor test stands, with hands-on mechanical and electrical work and NEC/UL compliance knowledge.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering or Engineering technology with 2+ years of HVAC/R experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of calorimeter and reliability test stands.
- Maintain lab data acquisition computers on compressor test stands.
- Maintain and revise LabVIEW data acquisition software and PLC code for all test stands.
- Management and storage of test data generated from compressor testing.
- Collaborate with compression engineering team to design and implement modifications and upgrades to existing test stands.
- Guide compression lab technicians in operation and calibration of test stands.
- Maintain and develop lab process standard work documentation.
