The Visual Pak Companies in Waukegan, IL, is seeking a Compounding Supervisor to lead the Compounding Department, coordinate with R&D and Manufacturing, and drive process improvements.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, 3–5 years in contract manufacturing, and the ability to work across shifts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in contract manufacturing.
• Flexible hours to support Manufacturing on all three shifts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership using Lean Manufacturing concepts to drive continuous improvements of manufacturing quality and cost.
• Oversee activities related to cost and efficiency of manufacturing products.
• Work with R&D in new product development and to improve manufacturing processes.
• Apply engineering practices to upgrade quality, capacity and efficiency of the Compounding Department; collaborate with Corporate Engineering on major equipment design and installation.
• Coordinate safety, welfare and training programs for personnel.
• Develop and maintain a daily blending schedule with customers and team.
