Option Care Health is seeking an experienced Compounding Technician I to join our Jacksonville site. Under a licensed Pharmacist, you will work in a clean room, helping prepare and dispense medications while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, with state licensure if required. Strong math, organization, and computer skills are essential for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures and state regulations.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents.
