Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion provider, recruiting a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding duties in a clean room and ensure safe, accurate operations. You will assist in dispensing medications and perform basic calculations under licensed supervision.

The role covers site maintenance, labeling, packaging, and incident reporting while maintaining logs for temperature and cleaning. 1 year of tech experience preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered if required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies per policies and state regulations.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in reporting medication related incidents.
• Maintains pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods cleanliness.
• Records and maintains pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
