Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Customer service experience with internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Compounding, Preparation, & Processing.
• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies, procedures and state regulations.
• Prepares medications for accurate compounding.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents.
